šŸ†Featured AI Leader: Sirisha KaipašŸ†

Weā€™re excited to present Sirisha Kaipa as a Featured AI Leader.Ā

Letā€™s get to know how Sirisha is using AI.

1. How is AI impacting your work?

Everything we are doing at dabbL is built off of AI. dabbL is the only AI-first guidance app of its kind that provides networking, college and career guidance based on the students interests and in a form factor that students best understand: mobile app. Starting with building a studentā€™s interests based off of their activity on the app, to building their college and career list, everything is AI-powered.

2. How do you use AI in your daily life?

Perplexity.ai for any of my searches, from startup competitions to writing code. Groq and openAI for building our dabbL backend. Amazon summary AI-powered reviews save time in shopping. Reclaim for calendar management.

3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?Ā

Torn between perplexity.ai and groq.com. Perplexity is for my personal use and groq for dabbL - our backend is powered by llama3 by groq. Itā€™s amazingly fast. You have to try it.

4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI?

Use AI to learn about AI. :) Itā€™s vast and will take time to understand. One of the most important things to remember is: itā€™s not a human brain. AI models are parsing tons of data and trying to find statistical matches to whatever your prompt is asking. Any response from the AI model is only as good as the data itā€™s been trained on, and your prompt. Remember that it is ā€œgarbage in, garbage outā€, when it comes to dealing with AI.

5. Who should we follow in the AI space?Ā

Rama Akkiraju. She's been a pioneer in the AI space and is very accomplished. Sheā€™s now building great things at Nvidia.

6. How can women in AI support each other? I see the Women And AI community already doing a lot of this but connecting women in AI, empowering them through these connections is key to grow this community. A quarterly and/or annual conference where women can meet and share their accomplishments, roadblocks, build connections can be a great way to keep the feeling of belonging going.
