Let’s get to know how Neha is using AI.
1. How is AI impacting your work?
I have been using AI in development for many years, from developing machine learning models to now implementing Generative AI. It has been a significant part of my work and has greatly impacted my career journey.
It's been amazing to see the evolution of AI from just a tech world to how the world is using it now. In my work as a developer, the rise of developer tools has greatly impacted the speed of learning and experimenting with tools like GitHub Copilot.
2. How do you use AI in your daily life?
Apart from work, I have been using AI tools more for personal research and exploration.
Anytime I have an idea, I test it by researching on ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity.
I generally use these tools for things I'm not great at or don't enjoy much. For example, anything cooking-related. I love cars but am not good at remembering the details, so whenever I see an amazing car, I take a picture and ask ChatGPT for the details.
3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?
Many: Claude, Perplexity, Chatgpt, Notion (AI features), Canva, Copilot, GitHub Copilot
4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI?
Do not be overwhelmed if you are new to this. Identify a use case you want to explore with an AI tool and experiment with that specific task. Give structure to your learning. AI tools are there to help you with your tasks; you don't need to master them. Before you start, understand why you are using AI and what benefits you hope to achieve. Determine if it was useful or not.

6. How can women in AI support each other? Be each other's advocates. Hire more women for your teams when implementing AI. Take a chance on someone new to the field and self-learning to grow.
