šŸ†Featured AI Leader: Cassidy ReidšŸ†

Weā€™re excited to present Cassidy Reid as a Featured AI Leader!

Letā€™s get to know how Cassidy is using AI.

1. How is AI impacting your work?

AI has had a transformative impact on my work, especially in the field of automation. As the founder of Women in Automation, Iā€™ve seen how AI-driven solutions can streamline complex business processes, improve efficiency, and drive innovation.

AI has made it easier to deliver scalable, intelligent automation solutions that adapt to changing business environments, allowing organizations to achieve more with fewer resources.

In my own work, AI helps bridge the gap between technical innovation and human creativity, especially as we work to empower more women to enter and lead in this space.

2. How do you use AI in your daily life?

In my daily life, AI serves as a tool for both productivity and inspiration. From using AI-powered platforms to automate routine tasks to leveraging intelligent data analysis for decision-making, AI helps me stay efficient.

I also use AI for content creation, whether it's drafting articles, scheduling posts, or analyzing trends within the automation industry. Itā€™s especially helpful when organizing large-scale events or initiatives for Women in Automation.

3. What is your favorite AI tool right now?Ā

Right now, Iā€™m really impressed with Lately.aiā€”an AI-powered platform that transforms long-form content into bite-sized, social-media-ready posts. As someone whoā€™s constantly creating and sharing insights on digital transformation and automation, this tool helps me streamline that process, turning hours of work into minutes. Itā€™s a great example of how AI can amplify human efforts and creativity.

In fact, the founder of Lately.ai will be speaking at our Women in Automation event on November 13th in NYC. We're very excited to have her and other female executives encouraging women to join our industry.Ā Ā

4. What advice do you have for someone who is just getting started with AI?

For women who might feel intimidated by the idea of entering the field of AI and automation, my first piece of advice is this: AI is for everyone, and thereā€™s no better time to dive in than now.

This field is still evolving, which means it doesnā€™t take decades of experience to become a leaderā€”you can make an impact in a relatively short amount of time if youā€™re willing to learn and explore. Start by embracing a mindset of curiosity. You donā€™t need a deep technical background to get started.

Begin with understanding the basic concepts and explore how AI can solve problems in industries that interest you. There are so many resources and tools designed to help newcomers, including online courses, communities, and mentorship programs.

At Women in Automation, weā€™re committed to creating a supportive space where women can learn and grow in this exciting field.

Remember, the world of AI and automation thrives on diversity. Your unique perspectives and experiences as a woman are not only valuable but necessary for innovation in this space. So donā€™t hesitateā€”step in, take up space, and know that you belong here. Youā€™ll be surprised how quickly you can make your mark!

5. How can women in AI support each other? As women in AI, we can uplift each other by fostering strong mentorship and sponsorship, where experienced leaders guide newcomers and actively advocate for their advancement.

Building inclusive communities, like Women in Automation and Women And AI, allows us to collaborate, share knowledge, and grow together in a supportive environment. Itā€™s crucial that we amplify each otherā€™s voices, celebrate our successes, and increase visibility by promoting the achievements of women in this field.

We can also drive change by advocating for equal opportunities and ensuring diversity in hiring and representation. Collaboration is keyā€”when we work together on projects and initiatives, we not only strengthen our work but create lasting professional bonds that lead to greater innovation. By standing together, we can ensure that more women enter and thrive in AI, contributing to a more diverse and dynamic future.
